WY-TO Group

YANN FOLLAIN is the Managing Director of WY-TO Group, founder of WY-TO’s Singapore practice and co-founder of WY-TO architects in Paris. He was named, together with Pauline Gaudry, co-founder of WY-TO architects in Paris, one of Europe's most important and emerging young architects and designers in Europe 40 Under 40 for 2016 by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

He has built a rich multicultural experience from his formative years in Indonesia, France, and Singapore. Embracing multidisciplinary approaches to grow the Singapore practice has established Yann's diverse expertise in sustainable architecture, cultural curation and exhibition design.

He received his Master of Architecture degree from one of France’s leading institutions, the National Architecture School of Higher Education of Paris-Belleville in 2005.

Jonathan Poh is the newest member of the WY-TO Group partnership, bringing in his expertise as a registered architect, and nominated council member of Singapore Institute of Architects. He received his Master of Architecture Degree from the National University of Singapore. 

​He is more widely known for leading an initiative to “save” Dakota Crescent’s post-war SIT estate following the announcement to redevelop the area in 2014 and produced a comprehensive conservation report that was instrumental in convincing the Member of Parliament to file a motion to conserve the area.

Jonathan continues to be actively involved in heritage work with Docomomo (Documentation and Conservation of the Modern Movement) Singapore Chapter as their secretary persuading stakeholders to conserve notable Modern Landmarks, and advices on Singapore’s conservation matters on as an appointed member of the National Heritage Board’s Heritage Advisory Panel. He also teaches as an Adjunct Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic’s Design School in hopes to inspire the next generation to be passionate and authentic designers for tomorrow.
